HOW to rebuild your credit history quickly.

Here is the idea Get a job and get about $200 built up. Put that money in a savings account don't put too much in the account because the county can and will put a levy on it as soon as they find out about it. Since the bank charges aboout $50 for a levy as long as you keep the account balance relatively low they won't bother with the paperwork ie. it will cost them more to type up and file the paperwork for a levy and the bank charges that they will usually not attack an account with a low balance.

After a few days ask the bank for a $200 collateral loan. Since they already have your money they will usually be happy to oblige. Make sure there are no prepayment penalties. Get the lowest interst rate you can and the longest repayment time available. It is okay to tell them you need the loan in order to begin to establish credit. Take this money and repeat the above proceedure at two or three banks. Finally take the last $200 and open a checking account. By this time a week or two should have passed. You begin making loan payments from the checking account now. Make sure it is early at least two weeks before payment is due. Do this for about a month or two. Now go to the bank where you have your checking account and ask for a signature loan for as much as they will agree to give you probably the same $200 or less.

A credit check at this point should show you with three active bank loans, which are considered hard to get, with a paying history on each one. At this point start applying for credit cards and bank cards and unsecured loans. Start with department store cards with low balance requirements. This way you are building your credit and if the DA winds up causing you to become bankrupt. All the money that they seize is dischargable through bankruptcy whereas your child support is not. Since the money will be applied to your child support. And if they terrorise you with this method of seizure of assets loans are dischargable under chapter 7 bankruptcy. This by proxy allows a certain portion of your child support to be discharged.

When they change the laws to make it illegal to be a father and be poor you have to figure out different ways to look at the problem. The bankruptcy laws regarding child support need to be consistant with all other bankruptcy laws. When you go broke in a business bankruptcy is allowed. Because you were providing a service? Well what if your child discovers the cure for cancer? You have done the world a service by fathering that child. If you father a child that contributes to society you have improved the world. Why are there idiots that want to take your drivers license away so you can't work and then once they have bankrupted you say that you can't discharge a private debt with bankruptcy? I was told recently that several thousand immigrants are leaving this country this year.
