Welcome to the help for fathers website
Objective
Hopefully with the links that are being developed and with enough support
it will generate enough funding to allow extensive lobbying to repeal certain
parts of the bankruptcy laws and also to repeal the laws allowing unusual
punishment of persons in arrears on their child support obligations. If you
have had your license suspended for child support arrears then you know that
this is unusual punishment. How can you work if you don't have
transportation?
Doesn't the constitution of the United States of America still forbid cruel or unusual punishment? If
you are poor this site will attempt to help you learn ways of either reducing
your support amount legally or help you to find ways of earning extra income
to help pay your support. In the future if funding ever becomes available to
do so this site will hopefully develop a foundation trust wich would
eventually begin awarding grants to men seriously in arrears to help them
begin the process of regaining their licenses and gainful employment. We will
have links to sites with legal information libraries and will also provide a
link to an open forum news group for helping fathers in any crisis situation.
Including links to government agencies that can help fathers to get back on
their feet. This includes links to homeless shelters food programs
information on grants and loans available to men. The purpose of this site is
to help fathers who are just too poor to pay the support and who have been
terrorised by their District Attorneys office or government for being poor.
It is not criminal to be poor
regardless of what the government has legislated in the past 15 years. It
could be inferred that these new laws are a defacto attempted instatement of
debtors prison which is illegal or at least clearly unconstitutional in the
United States.
